Samuel L. Jackson’s riveting new documentary series titled Enslaved: The Lost History of the Transatlantic Slave Trade will take you on a journey into the brutal history of human trafficking. The new six part documentaries series executive produced and hosted by Samuel L. Jackson alongside Afua Hirsch from the Gaurdian and investigative journalist Simcha Jacobovic, first premiered September 14, 2020 on EPIX in the U.S. , but based on this captivating story has seen the project get picked up worldwide by broadcasters in 130 countries.

To add to the mystery, audiences will get the chance to explore Samuel L. Jackson’s family history as he goes in pursuit of finding his family roots in Africa. So before I give too much away check out the trailer below

In terms of other territories,” Fremantle, which is handling international sales on the series, closed deals with France’s TF1 Group for its Histoire TV channel, with the History network in Germany, with Spain’s Moviestar+ and RTVE, and with National Geographic for Latin America, among other deals.
