Montreal indie band Ivytide released the first music video to their upcoming EP titled, Pardon our distance. The new music video to the EP’s first single ‘Blurr’ released March 13, encapsulates the feeling of losing touch, reflecting the distance between two people that comes from a disparity in perceptions, emotions, and perspectives.
To be honest, I stumbled across this band by mistake while looking for new music and was I happy when I heard this song! In terms of music production on ‘Blurr’, the psychedelic track “embodies the feeling of distance, with dreamy and washed out qualities that pair with lyrics describing the struggle of self-identification.” IVYTIDE

I am really loving the lo-fi psychedelic sound on Ivytide’s latest offering ‘Blurr’, and if this is anything to go by, definitely has me excited for their new Pardon our distance EP.
