Brooklyn is almost synonymous when it comes to hip hop and many times Known as the “Forefathers” and founders to the hip hop as I call it “RELIGION” and culture . Since then they still create greats in the 20th century with quality lyrics beats and flows , and one of the most stand out of these is artist Joey BadA$$ the co-founder of Hip Hop collective Pro Era .

Pro Era front man Joey Bada$$ needs little introduction – despite his classic, nostalgic approach, he’s among the foremost representatives of the younger hip-hop generation, having been hailed as a prodigy after the release of his critically acclaimed debut mixtape 1999, which dropped when he was 17-years-old.
Throughout his three-year career, the Brooklyn native has worked with Audio Push, Hit-Boy, Action Bronson, Mike Posner, Raekwon, Black Thought, Funkmaster Flex, Statik Selektah, DJ Premier, Harry Fraud, Dizzy Wright, Jared Evan, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, Yelawolf, Danny Brown, Smoke DZA, Mac Miller, Casey Veggies, Big K.R.I.T. and more, not to mention the extensive collaborations within his own crew.
Most recently, he headlined the 2013 “Smoker’s Club” tour with Ab-Soul, received praise from Lupe Fiasco and announced a new Pro Era mixtape . In August 2014, Joey BadA$$ appeared in a quasi-autobiographical short film entitled No Regrets in which he portrays himself.
On August 4, 2014, he released the first single from his upcoming debut studio album titled “Big Dusty” with the music video coming out 8 days later.
On December 28, 2017, Joey BadA$$ announced via Twitter that he was originally featured on Post Malone’s track “Rockstar” along with T-Pain. BadA$$ also admitted to ghostwriting the track.
Florida rapper XXXTentacion announced on Instagram that he had a collaboration project with Joey BadA$$, BadA$$ later confirmed this on January 20, 2018. The two dropped a remix of the song “Kings Dead” on SoundCloud on March 9, 2018. The two later on dropped a song titled “Infinity (888)” on XXXTentacion’s second studio album . One week later on March 16. With the murder of XXXTentacion, though, the status on their collaborative project remains unknown. On June 12, 2018, Joey re-issued 1999 on all streaming services and vinyl for its 6th anniversary, and in a following interview with Peter Rosenberg, revealed his fatherhood, making public his first child, then 2-month-old Indigo Rain.
